 Day #4 of

Literacy: Every Child, Every Adult

Today we begin to explore the four ways anyone can play an essential role in the Bonding With Children Foundation support community. Here they are:

Get Involved as a Prayer Partner

Prayer Partners are at the heart of everything that happens through the Bonding With Children Foundation. Our vision is to serve our Lord by serving those around us. Everything we do is done to honor and glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We rely heavily on the Holy Spirit to guide us on WHO we should serve, WHAT He would have us do for them, and HOW we should do it. It is our prayer partners that join us in keeping connected to the One who guides us through prayer. Prayer Partners give of their TIME.

What will I be asked to do as a prayer partner?

We are asking you to be willing to set aside a specific amount of time on a regular basis and do three things:

  • Present to the Lord the Requests on our Prayer Page, asking Him to intercede on behalf of those in need.
  • Rejoice with us before the Lord over the Celebrations on our Prayer Page, thanking Him for answered prayers, and finally,
  • Listen in silence for anything He may want to communicate to us through you. When He gives you something, send us an email through our contact page with His message.

How often do I need to pray?

  • As often as you feel led to pray. You can pray:
  • Spontaneously - When the Holy Spirit puts Bonding With Children Foundation on your heart and in your mind,
  • On a Schedule - Set aside a time once a day, once a week, or twice a month, or
  • You can also mix and match the above to fit your daily routine. One time it may be spontaneous, another time it may be planned. Whichever way you choose needs to be done in a way that fits YOU!

What if I don’t want to be a prayer partner anymore?

Locate any email you have received about prayer opportunities and either:

  • Click the “Stop Messages” link to discontinue receiving special prayer partner emails, or
  • Click the “Remove Me” link and you will no longer be listed as a prayer partner.
  • You can also send an email through our contact page and request to have the emails stopped or to be removed from the Prayer Partner list and we will do that for you.

So what do you think?
Does being a prayer partner sound like a meaningful way for you to join our support community?

Whatever you decide, thank you for taking the time to explore what it means to be a part of our support community as a Prayer Partner.

 Get Involved as a Volunteer

Just as Prayer Partners are at the heart of everything that happens through the Bonding With Children Foundation, Volunteers are the soul. So much of what actually gets done, both here in the US and overseas in Kouve, is done by volunteers. Without them we could not function. Volunteers give of both their TIME and their TALENTS.

What will I be asked to do as a volunteer?

We are asking you to do the following:
  • Subscribe to our eNewsletter and stay informed on all that is happening. When you read about an opportunity to serve as a volunteer and you think it might be something you would like to do, send us an email through our contact page and let us know what you are thinking, then
  • Register as a volunteer. When we are looking for volunteers we will email you what’s happening. You can then decide if that is something you want to pursue. If it is, reply to that email and let us know what you are thinking.

What kinds of things can I do as a volunteer?

Just about anything when it comes to manual labor. Other times it could be using a specific skill or ability that you have for a project or task that needs to be done.

What if I don’t want to volunteer anymore?

Locate any email you have received about volunteer opportunities and either:
  • Click the “Stop Messages” link to discontinue receiving volunteer emails, or
  • Click the “Remove Me” link and you will no longer be listed as a volunteer.
  • You can also send an email through our contact page and request to have the emails stopped or to be removed from the Volunteer list and we will do that for you.
So what do you think? Does being a volunteer sound like a meaningful way for you to join our support community?

If so, then click “I’m IN as a Volunteer

Whatever you decide, thank you for taking the time to explore what means to be a part of our support community as a Volunteer
